A lot of things are wrong with this book. For one, there are a lot of obvious grammar mistakes that would have been eliminated if someone took the time to proofread it. There are missing quotes, incorrect punctuation and missing words. Also sentences are jumbled together and at times it is unclear who the speaker is.

Another problem I have is with the story itself. SPOILERS. The main character is an idiot. Among other things she stays with the cheating and abusive "hero" and allows herself to be treated by crap by others as well. The hero has sex with other people while they are together. The hero told her that he had to screw, in his words, a "hog" (which he received an award for) because it was expected of him by his fraternity brothers. He seems unable to keep it in his pants. The heroines theory is that he has low self esteem and screwing is one of the things he is good at, that makes him feel better. Cry me a river. The hero according to the heroine, forces her to have an abortion when he gets her pregnant. Also he gets mad at her and ends up seriously hurting her on two separate occasions, including running her over with a car. But those were just mistakes. She breaks up with him for a minute but then cannot help herself and goes back to being with him. Her roommate lies to her, treats her poorly and lets frat boys stand in line to screw her and yet the heroine is willing to hang out with her. In my opinion the person who has the most issues with low self esteem is the heroine. I think we are suppose to feel sorry for her because she is a nice person and people treat her so poorly. Unfortunately I didn't. She just irritated me. The only thing good about the book besides being free is that it was a short and eventually I finshed reading it.

WOW!!! This book provoked what seems like every emotion, almost all at once! I fell in love with Jonathan and HOLY CRAP did I want to kill him!!!! Brooke is just a sweet, loving girl, with no idea what shes gotten herself into! This is a book you HAVE to read!!!

The story and the concept of this book is great.
I love how the author brought the characters and the scenes to life in a sense that you can easily caught in the events. I can't get-over with my emotions while and after reading the book. The characters are well made. The ending of the story was good and I was excited on what will happen next to Brooke, if she will finally get her revenge.

STILL I THOUGHT THAT I WOULD GIVE THESE BOOKS A TRY.

ABBEY K. DAVIES -YOU BLEW ME AWAY, KNOCKED MY SOCKS OFF AND WHATEVER ELSE YOU WANT TO SAY. THIS SET OF BOOKS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND PHENOMENAL. THERE IS SO MUCH CONTAINED WITHING THE PAGES OF THESE STORIES THAT IT PRACTICALLY BURSTS OUT OF THE BOOK AND STAYS ON YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS LONG AFTER YOU HAVE FINISHED READING IT. THE AUTHOR IS QUITE THE WORDSMITH AND I FOUND MYSELF ADDICTED AFTER READING THE FIRST PAGE. SHE HAS CREATED A WORLD FULL OF LUST, DRAMA, SEXINESS, SIZZLE, ROMANCE, PAIN, ANGER, PASSION AND REVENGE. THESE PAGES ARE FILLED WITH SMART AND INTRIGUING CHARACTERS AND THE STORYLINE- LET IT BE KNOWN THAT I WAS ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT THE ENTIRE SERIES. ALL OF THE SUSPENSE AND SEXINESS IN THE FIRST BOOK EASILY CARRIES OVER INTO THE SECOND WITHOUT A LAG IN THE STORY. ABBEY DAVIES TRANSPORTED ME TO BROOKE AND JONATHAN'S WORLD WITH HER DESCRIPTIVE WRITING. BROOKE AND JONATHAN HAVE SUCH CHEMISTRY THAT THEY ARE ALMOST COMBUSTIBLE. BROOKE STARTS OFF AN INNOCENT AND NAIVE GIRL WHO UNFORTUNATELY MADE A BAD CHOICE. WHEN THE INCREDIBLY SEXY JONATHAN ENTERS HER LIFE, HE TEACHES HER ABOUT PASSION. BROOKE FALLS QUICKLY FOR THE SEDUCTIVE CHARMER, BUT LIKE BROOKE, JONATHAN HAS A PAST. THIS PAST DOES COME BACK TO HAUNT HIM AND FRACTURE WHAT HE HAS WITH BROOKE. CAN BROOKE FORGIVE HIM? THANK YOU ABBEY DAVIES FOR CREATING A SMART AND STRONG LEAD FEMALE CHARACTER. I CANNOT THANK THE AUTHOR ENOUGH FOR INTRODUCING ME TO HER BOOKS. THEY WERE AMAZING AND THIS AUTHOR DEFINITELY HAS A NEW FAN. FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS (EASILY).
I just couldn't finish. I was 14% in when I couldn't handle the way she was telling the story. It was as if she was relaying a story as opposed to giving any perspective. I'm not entirely sure what p.o.v. you would call it but it was making the story line unbearable. There could be a great story here if she writes from a characters perspective
This book brought out so many emotions In me! Excitement, lust, sadness and hate. I felt for Brooke, is was a good girl who just wanted to be loved. Her father was a cheater and I'm sure she didn't feel like she was loved by him. So the first involvement with a boy is Josh from school and he only used her for sex, while she loved him he didn't reciprocate the feelings. Then at college she's rooming with her friend from hi school, for some reason she is jealous of Brooke, but she's the one who set her and Jonathan up. Jonathan has all kinds of messed up past, a family that controls him, he feels out of control himself, he makes poor choices but still Brooke holds on until the final incident that shows what type of man he is. Selfish and controlling himself. This is a great read! Jammed packed with lust and emotions, I cried several times throughout. I recommend this book to everyone, don't miss it!

Sexuality meets sensuality is two words I would use to describe PASSION. The characters are true to life and the story-line is inviting of wanting more and more of the passion and sensuality that waits behind every turn of the page. I found myself drawn to Brooke's character and experiencing every raw emotion she did. Abbey K. Davies really knows how to draw in the reader with her vivid imagination that brings these characters to life that heightens our fantasies and desires of wanting even more to a whole new level.
